Support Coach Job Description
$18.50-$20.00/hour
Sign-On Bonus: $500
Position Requirements:

High School diploma or GED
-
Valid California Driver’s License
-
Maintains current automobile insurance
-
Access to a vehicle for transportation to/from work and during scheduled shifts
-
DMV driving history report
-
Maintains first aid and CPR certifications
-
Physically able to lift and carry up to 25-pound items (unless medically restricted)
-
Maintains a negative alcohol/drug screening in accordance with California law (if applicable)

Clears/maintains Department of Justice clearance
-
Continued ability to meet job description/duties requirements

Continued ability to meet scheduling availability needs for persons served and the company

Attends ongoing assigned meetings, trainings, and growth development
Position Requirements May Include but Not Limited To:

Adhere to Coastline Service's guidelines, policies, and regulations, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and expectations

Provide comprehensive support aimed at skill enhancement, goal attainment, and personal empowerment for individuals served

Assist with medication management, including training, reminders, coordination of refills, and communication with pharmacies
-
Facilitate appointments and schedules, ensuring meaningful engagement and attendance at community activities and events
-
Offer guidance and assistance in money management, including budget creation, bill payment, banking tasks, and financial organization
-
Support individuals in maintaining their health and wellness through personal care, hygiene routines, meal planning, grocery shopping, and household tasks
-
Provide overnight support to ensure safety, stability, and assistance as needed, maintaining vigilance during nighttime hours
-
Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of activities, observations, and interactions, adhering to all reporting requirements and deadlines
-
Foster a culture of professionalism and continuous learning by providing training, guidance, and mentorship to new team members and actively participating in professional development opportunities
-
Collaborate effectively with colleagues, caregivers, community members, and management to optimize support and service delivery, while upholding a positive and cooperative attitude throughout interactions
